Plomb du Cantal Cable Car

This is an easy way to go to the top of the highest summit in the Massif Cantalien, in the heart of Europe's largest volcano.
Exceptional views of the Massif Central summits: Puy Griou, Puy Mary, Puy de Sancy…

Open to walkers, mountain bikers and paragliders.
In collaboration with the Regional Natural Park of the Auvergne Volcanoes, interpretation panels are present in the arrival station, explaining the history of the Cantal volcano, its fauna, its flora.
From the top, start of hikes on the ridges 'La Voie Romaine', towards the Col de Prat de Bouc/Albepierre Bredons... or back on foot to the resort.
With the cable car, you can also access the start of mountain bike trails.

Useful information: Departure every 15 minutes (depending on the weather).
Around 20 min walking to access to the top (Subject to favorable weather. Accessible for disabled person.
Animals on leash are allowed. Open to walkers, mountain bikers and paragliders…
